The Freya Foundation was established in May 2022 following more than a decade of working to help homeless animals, especially disabled dogs and kittens, as well as dogs in critical condition in the Municipal Shelter for Stray Dogs of the Municipality of Varna /Kamenar.

Our efforts aim to find suitable foster and permanent homes, chipping and neutering, and provide immediate and follow-up medical care.

Freya has a private shelter in the municipality of Avren and an ambulatory clinic where we provide daily care and love to dozens of dogs and cats.
